Hi,

What is miniport? What it will exactly do? In winpkfiler driver normal ndis.sys file and mini port is there. What's the functionality of that. Which interact with the NIC card and how communication happens?

NDIS IM driver consists of two parts, protocol and miniport. It does bind to lowe layer as protocol and exports NDIS miniports to upper layer.
